17 Weeks

The umbilical cord — the lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Baby weighs 5 ounces now and is around 5 inches long from head to bottom. Baby Garbo is the size of a turnip. Baby can move her/his joints, and the sweat glands are starting to develop. Wow--Baby (and Mommy) are sure growing fast. Romney is still tired and loves to take as many naps as possible. Thank goodness that football season has started--Romney takes the best naps during the NFL season!
